Recent FCC Changes Re UHF Wireless Mic Operation

The recent decision by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to open up the “white spaces” spectrum to a variety of wireless transmitters (not just wireless microphones as in the past), has caused considerable confusion and concern among those who use/distribute wireless microphones. For all practical purposes, the FCC decision will not adversely impact wireless microphone operation, and specific measures have been taken to help ensure that wireless transmission remains interference-free.
