With over three decades of music under his belt, Pete Anderson shows no signs of slowing down. In the early 80’s Pete was introduced to Dwight Yoakam, a struggling singer- songwriter. Needing a substitute guitar player for a club gig, Yoakam called Anderson. The two hit it off and started working together, honing Yoakam’s sound powered by the musical direction and fiery guitar playing of Anderson.
In 1985 Yoakam was signed to WarnerBros. Records marking the beginning of a partnership that would span 20 years and resulting in the sales of millions of albums worldwide…all produced by Pete Anderson. Pete has also produced projects by Roy Orbison, k.d.lang, Lucinda Williams, Buck Owens, Michelle Shocked and the Meat Puppets among others.
Pete has used Nady Wireless since his early touring days with Dwight Yoakam and uses Nady studio mics at Little Dog Studio recording sessions. Recently, during Winter NAMM, Pete picked up a Nady 1260 60-watt Tube combo guitar amp.
