Emeryville, CA – Nady Systems recently introduced their nifty, new AxeHead—a pocket-sized amp that plugs directly into your guitar or bass for instant pro sounding audio. The AxeHead is the perfect practice tool that eliminates the need for a bulky amp or effects. Listen through your headphone and crank it up as loud as you want without disturbing those around you. Built-in amp simulation allows you to tailor your tone from ultra clean to heavy distortion.
With virtually no set-up involved, you can sound like you’re onstage while jamming in your bedroom, office, college dorm…anywhere, anytime. Also great for warming up discreetly for a gig. Just plug in and play. A 1/8” AUX input jack connects to your MP3 player, CD player, or any compatible audio source so you can hear accompanying music while playing. The AxeHead’s convenient, built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery provides up to 15 hours play time (no need to change batteries). To recharge, simply connect the supplied USB cable to your computer’s USB port or optional AC adapter.
AxeHead accessories include: a headphone splitter (for 1/8” mini plugs) which allows 2 listeners at the same time; a 5’ stereo audio cable (1/8” to 1/8”) for connecting to AUX music source; and a charging cable (USB to mini USB). Other optional accessories are also available.
The AxeHead began shipping October, 2011.
